Twilight "mistakes"

When I watch people turn on cars, they usually grab onto all the keys attached to the keychain, so to have a firm grasp, while placing their thumb and index finger on the key, then turn. Seeing as how all the keys are in their hands, they technically turn all the keys.

bri-marie Um, if Bella is putting a keychain in her ignition, than she might have a tad more issues to worry about than going against her boyfriend's wishes. Also, keychain is not a synonym for keys.

twilightlover73 That means she grabs the keychain (or keys in your case) and twists one key in the ignition. What Meyer said is she twisted the [i]keys[/i].

cassie-1-2-3 But regardless of how many keys are where, and in which hand, and on a keychain or not, this has got to be the most trivial thing to pick on. This has no effect whatsoever on the interpretation of the story. SHE DID TWIST THE KEYS You cannot physically grab a bunch of keys, twist your wrist, and have only one key move. It's just not possible. This is not a magical set of keys or a magical ignition under some kind of spell. If she twists a key attached to other keys, ALL the keys will move. This conversation is beyond ridiculous.

Moonlight_Kitty Minor grammar mistake. Meyer used the plural noun instead of the singular noun. That is all, nothing wrong with it. (in fact i do it occasionally) The person who made this picture is just poking fun at the use of the plural word.
