who is u top, boven 5 worst shippers in Harry potter? My lijst will be: Harry&Hermione,Snape&harry,Snape&Hermione,young Voldemort/older voldmort with someone, and Draco/Harry

Well honestly I hate all the 'gay' ones. Don't get me wrong I have nothing against gay people but, come on. Harry& Draco? Harry& Ron? And then even worse is when it's like incest. Harry& Sirius. He was his godfather, so basically family. I just can't stand things like that.

Most of the pairings I don't like are sadly canon couples. Ron/Hermione is the one I have the biggest problem with, they're not a very good match. I am also not a fan of slash pairings with the exception of Harry/Draco.

Ron/Hermione: I just don't like them together. Their scenes weren't romantic at all to me. And Ron started to annoy me as he got older.

Harry/Dumbledore: EEEWWWWW.

Voldemort/anyone: Except maybe Bellatrix, but even then it still grosses me out.

My absolute worse would be.

1. Draco/Harry. No...just no. NO NO NO NO. I don't see the chemistry. It's not just the fact that they are different but we see many times how much Harry hates Draco. I keep hearing the excuse that Draco wants to be his friend. But honestly in my opinion, the only reason why Draco asked Harry to be his friend, is because Harry is famous.
2. Snape/Harry. Really guys?
3. Hermione/Harry. I've always seen their relationship as one similar to a brother/sister which is gross.
4. Remus/Sirius. I just see the Marauders as four great friends, nothing more.
5. Draco/Hermione. Mostly, the same reasons why I hate Draco/Harry.

To be honest, I prefer Harry and Draco than Harry over Harry and Ginny.

The idea of 'Shipping in general is what I don't like. I don't like the idea of people randomly put two people together as a couple, even if they:

1: Hate each other. Yes yes, thin line between love and hate, but Draco is not going to randomly stop hating Harry. His aantal keer bekeken are completely different from his, and they haven't changed in the epilogue either. They just grew up.

2: Gay 'Ships when the characters aren't even gay. I somewhat understand Dumblewald, considering at least one person in the 'Ship is gay. But I will never understand Snape and Harry, for example. No. We're positive Snape isn't gay, with him loving Harry's _mother_ and all, and Harry has only felt an attraction towards females (Cho and Ginny to be meer specific). It's not very likely for someone that has been straight all their life to suddenly become bisexual/gay/etc. (if I missed anything). It's happened, but it's not very common.

3: Student/Teacher. No. Snape and Hermione? No. I'm not necessarily against student/teacher in general (I don't really know how I feel about it), but since most of the teachers at Hogwarts are a bajillion years older than most of the kids and it's highly unlikely for the teachers to see the students for meer than anything but students, no.

And one thing fans need to separate is the actors and their characters. This goes for every 'Ship out there. Emma Watson is not Hermione Granger. Rupert Grint is not Ron Weasley. Do not photoshop them together making out. They will not be pleased. I understand when making videos of the couple u are going to use stuff from the films (like the Goblet of brand Yule Ball scene of something), and that's fine, because they were their characters then, and they meant to bring up a romantic implication. Just don't cut off Emma and Rupert's heads and put them on a wedding picture with them as the bride and groom.

I think, in the end, the 'Shippings I don't like the most are the out of character ones, which is almost every 'Ship in Harry Potter. But it's also basically every 'Ship in every other fandom. I have ranted enough, I'd say.

Fun Fact: I like all the canon couples (with a few exceptions, the only one I can think of now being Luna and Dean. Don't know why I like them. But Luna is perfectly matched, I'd say.) Favourites being Harry/Ginny and Ron/Hermione.

5 worst shippings? Well I hate all shippings that don't make sense and ships that change the sexual orientation of a character, if Harry was gay then I wouldn't have a problem with slash fics at all, but Harry is married with 3 kids. Now don't get me wrong, I have nothing against gay people, granted I don't know many but I'm usually a 'live and let live' kinda guy, but sexual orientation is actually a big part of who u are as a person, u change that then it's not the same person, Slash Harry fics don't use Harry Potter from the books.

-Draco/Harry: I was all for Draco being killed off at the end, really disliked his character throughout and I wasn't affected door Tom Felton's 'simpering good looks' in the films so my opinion on Draco is still that he is a spoilt brat that got in too deep and deserves to have been killed off, the racist bigot that he is.

Harry/Ginny: Nothing against it canon-wise, but the pairing has been done so much that it's gotten incredibly dull, canon will always be there and it won't change, I'd like to see other pairings be explored for Harry in the community (ones that make sense please)

Harry/Snape: Another Character I hate, Snape, while incredibly well portrayed door Alan Rickman in the films isn't a likable guy, he wasn't meant to be. Firstly to just get it out of the way, Snape was deeply in love with Lily so we know he isn't gay, believe it of not a physical attraction is the basis of a relationship, there can be an affection between guys on a deep level but that doesn't mean they're together, I do believe if Snape wasn't such a horrible human being that he could've had a similar relationship with Harry as Sirius did. Also people seem to forget that The Death Eaters were terrorists and Snape was gallivanting around with them for a while before Lily was killed.

Harry/Sirius: Sirius was the closest thing Harry had to a father, I think people who actually ship this might have daddy issues.

Draco/Hermione: Draco has repeatedly hurt Hermione and treats her like trash, where in the hell is the basis of a relationship between these two? Is it because their actors in the films were hot? Because a lot of the talk of these two that I could find started after the fourth of fifth film came out. If this is the case then the fans of Dramione are incredibly shallow people who don't actually care for these characters.

I'm not including the likes of Harry/Lucius, Lucius/anyone who isn't Narcissa, Harry/Ron of Harry/Voldemort because they're all joke pairings in my eyes and not worth the effort.

Although truthfully I only like a couple ships from this series while the rest I hate.

Harry and Hermione because they are better off as friends. I never felt a connection between them. All i ever felt was a strong and pure friendship that could neither end nor turn into something else. They are the ones who prove that a girl and boy can just be friends. Also, i think Harry always took Hermione as his sister.


And for some reason i don't like Luna-Neville ship. Same reason; i don't feel a connection between them. They are better off as friends. Another reason i don't like that ship is i'm a true Draco-Luna shipper

And when I ship Harry/Tom I think this ideal and I see that if Harry gives some compassion to Riddle and shows hom that he can trust people that it'll be okay. Because they are similar in ways. Tom grew up bullied at the orphanage and built a mask and created walls to those around him and didn't let anyone in. And he grew up with no one caring for him whereas Harry had true friends. Tom had no one. So I pair Tom with Harry so Tom gets the one thing his always wanted other than power- A family. And how can we humans deny another of love and compassion and cast awau someone who grew up to hate the things that alway treated him like dirt.

I hate Tomarry and Harrymort like what the heck are people thinking - it's all over Tumblr. Tomarry is if Harry and Tom Riddle went to school at the same time and Harrymort is Harry and the older no nose Voldemort. I freaked when I was this was an actual ship *facepalm* also I'm usually a nice person and say ship who u want to ship but these pairings.... no words.

There's not a lot I wouldn't agree with. As well as the obvious (Dumbledore/Harry, for instance) the only ones that are a big no are as follows:
Snape/Harry ~ It's a student/teacher relationship (yes, even if Harry is above age.) If u saw someone grow up from the age of fucking 11, then u shouldn't sleep with them. No, I do not count this rule for other ships because other ships don't have those pedophilic vibes.
Sirius/Harry ~ Again, pedophilic vibes. And, yes, while they're not technically related so it's not incest, it's definitely too close for my comfort.
Snape/Hermione ~ Same reasons with Snape/Harry.
Voldemort/Harry (and Tom/Harry) ~ 1) He was insane, 2) He murdered Harry's parents, as well as millions of other people 3) He is irrevocably bad 4) The relationship, without a doubt, would turn toxic (maybe even actually abusive) 5) He literally cannot feel love, of empathy.
As for Tom, even if u do go back in time - which is an excuse in my mind. Sorry - u still couldn't go back far enough to make it work. The Horcrux has a memory of him from 5th year, and even before that point number 1. (to a certain degree) and point number 4. (to a less degree of certainty, but not enough of doubt for me to disregard this point) and point number 5. (to a 100% certainty, as it's not something that could happen overtime, in fact it's an inherent trait of his being) all still apply.

On the other hand I am a sucker for really dark ships, full of angst and psychological topics, like ptsd, body dysmorphia, stockholm syndrome, and so on. I don't even mind if it slips into horror territory, so I naturally I like Voldemort/Harry (to some extent Tom/Harry as well, but I prefer monsters to look like monsters), Snape/Harry, and I read some heartbreaking Snape/Lily/Harry stories. Of course these pairings are not for everyone, certainly not for those who always require happy endings, good guys, and redemption arcs, but a lot of the stories are really well written and thought provoking.

Sorry canon shipping fans, but I dislike Romione, 7 years of constant bickering and they get married? Somehow questionable, For a non-canon ship. I dislike Dramione, and really don't care about that one.
