I love it! Yay J.K.R.!!!

I think it adds a beautiful facet to his character. Loved what she said about Grindewald-- it makes SO much more sense. We really are blinded by the ones we love, and that's why Dumbledore made such a grave mistake in trusting him.

Well, when I read that article about Dumbledore being gay I was pretty surprised. And I still am. But the more I think about it the more it makes sense. But still, I couldn't believe he's gay! It was a bit of a shocker. But I'm not sure that I would say "How dare J.K.!".

Well, not "how dare J.K." but it did surprise me. The question of his sexuality never once ever crossed my mind when I was reading any of the books. It does add an interesting layer to the seventh book.

wow... it added a twist.. I love everything J.K. Rowling does to add to her books, and the unexpected.. yet still making complete sense!

I can believe it, but I was suprised when I first read it! Although, as soon as I started to think about it it made loads of sense! I'm dreading the fan fiction though... lol! But ya know that people are gonna read all sorts of things into Dumbledore and Harry's relationship which is just wrong! I have to say that I love the way the J.K. is still telling us stuff about the books even though they're over, and that she still has people and the media talking about them when the hype of the seventh book has calmed! She's a smart lady!! :)

When I first read about it I thought it was just random bloggers making up rumors but then I saw quite a few legitimate articles on the internet. It also makes a lot of sense because one of the key themes in Harry Potter is equality. Hermione is one of the smartest of her age and she's both female and muggle born, and now Dumbledore, who is probably the most powerful wizard of the age, is gay. It adds a bit more depth to his character when more about his personal life is revealed, and that's always a good thing. Dumbledore/Grindelwald ftw.

Couldn't really care less, to be honest. I thought Lupin was gay before he got with Tonks. :)

I didn't see it coming but I don't really care, just makes Harry Potter better because it represents more types of people :)
