Not all of them. Movies 1-5 I saw before I read the books. I only read the books (from 1-7) earlier this year. So at least with 6 & 7, I read the books before seeing the movies.

I started reading the books after I saw the third movie. So at least with 4, 5, 6, and 7, I read the books before seeing the movies.

it was complicated with me ... i read the first four books and then i watched all five movies, and then i reread from the beginning this time reading all the books. so basically the only movie i have seen without reading the book first was the fifth one.

I read the books then watch the movie, but before the movie premiere I read again the books! XD

i always read the books before the movies, except for the 1st (i was 6 years old!)

no. i saw the movies first. then i read the first and seventh book (yeah, weird. i know) and i'm part way through the second.

my dad was the one who got me hooked on harry potter. he wanted me to watch the first movie with him, so i did. i had never even heard of harry potter before this btw. anyways, i really liked the movie so then he handed me the book and told me to read it, saying that it had much more depth to it than the movie. so i read it. i loved it. then i started reading the other books and watching the movies after.
(i thought we were talking about the first film, so that's why i said that. wow......such a long time ago! :)
