I just finished Deathly Hollows and while two days ago I would have said my favorite was The Goblet of Fire...now it's Deathly Hollows.

i like this one best because not only does it talk about the golden trio
but you also learn a little bit more about harry's parents and friends

I'm not sure i'll always feel this way, but at the moment it's the honest answer.

The Prisoner of Azkaban has always been my favorite. Right now, my second favorite would be the Deathly Hollows, but like the above poster said, I doubt I will always feel this way.

it's a tie between that and goblet of fire.

My choice for favourite book will probably change soon once I re-read the series again; I have a feeling it will be Deathly Hallows

I really liked all of them.. it's hard to choose when each of them tell us something new and reveal another secret.. they all need to be there...but I would probably choose one of the last three cause they are the most intense... although I'm not sure which one yet

I loved all of them but my top two are order of the phoenix and deathly hallows!! but the last one has everything and its when everything came together, its the best!!!

I, too, plan to go back now reread the whole series now that I can do it rapid-fire and not have to wait in between. For now, Deathly Hallows reigns because it is freshest in my memory.

I love all of them but my favourite would have to be a tie between POA and OOTP.

The Deathly Hallows was SERIOUSLY crap..

Followed closely by POA. I LOVED the end of DH, though, from "The Forest Again" to before the epilogue... the epilogue rather sucked... And I loved all the frustration in POA.

It wrapped up everything pretty much. AND (squeal) Harry and Ginny and kids. AHH, just a happy dream.

The sixth book introduced the Horcruxes and the jealousy and hormones of teenage romance is hilarious!!=)

in my opinion half blood prince is the best book
this is because it tied up several loose ends from the previous books, showed the dark past of voldemort, set the groundwork for the thrilling 7th book and had by far the best climax of all 7 books apart from maybe deathly hallows
also the characters showed alot more emotion than in previous books such as harry's growing feelings for ginny,
hermione's jealousy of ron and lavender,
and the adult characters even got in on it too with the lupin/tonks relationship
overall imo it is the best book

Thanks for using the proper covers. I think Deathly Hallows was just really well put together. Everything came together and was resolved beautifully. It was the most intense because they were no longer at school and that made the whole thing much more real and exciting... and dangerous. Also, he'd lost all his protectors and mentors. Apart from Ron and Hermione, he was really on his own.

The 2nd half of the book was so action packed!

5-7 are the best

I picked the first one because it was the book that made me want to read the series in the first place
