Why isnt House coming back on for a while?

EDIT: House return datum was pushed back the correct changes have been made to the episode schedule.

House doesn't return until January 25th because it is the usual winter hiatus. u should start to notice all of the network shows starting to take their breaks soon. Every jaar there are breaks in new programming, namely the summer hiatus and winter. winter is much shorter.

However the sporadic scheduling of future episodes can be contributed to the shorter season and making sure its airing during May sweeps.
