Cry baby.

I liked it because it was so cheery.
But I was very young when I saw it, probably around 6 years old. I didn't know who he was until I saw Pirates of the Caribbean 1.

Either Edward Scissorhands of A nightmare on Elm Street. I liked them both. I was also really young when I saw them like 10 of 12. I can't remember why I liked them. But I still like them, to this day.

Edward Scissorhands when I was 8. :) I liked it because it felt different than other movies. Mmm, the Burton-style... :P Oh and I was in love with Edward for years, lol. (Not Johnny, only his character).

Nightmare on Elm straat - loved the movie - Englund's Freddie is class - the epitome of an antihero! Didn't really notice Johnny - he was meer cute then and not my cup of thee - looks wise. The film certainly didn't showcase his acting skills - which made him attractive to me later. It was his 1st film though and thankfully he grew and never gave in to the Hollywood machine and chose his own path - quirky and not obvious blockbuster. Love him now - loved Nightmare .... then but not him so much. Ramble over hehehe!!! Stevie

Charlie and the chocolate factory. That's when I fell in love. The movie is really great. The songs in the film are amazing. Tim burton is brilliant and Johnny as Willy is both hot and funny

Cry Baby; which was coolly vintage, but a spoof. He was dreamy onstage. Edward Scizzorhands was awesome & the soundtrack magical. Johnny was gorgeously goth, & played the innocence of a mad scientist creation so well. My favoriete scene was the sculpture in snowfall dance. Wow; & I watched the muziek video repeatedly... Ingenious! The otherworldly quality is a refreshing element. What's Eating Gilbert druif was so slice~of~life to be sadly believable. It reminded me of the Grapes of Wrath, door Steinbeck; only meer modern... very back~woodsy & well~done. Although it was evocative of empathy & acceptance of the shortcomings of loved ones; I found it a little depressing. I am affected too deeply door melodrama, & normally avoid such cinema. I only watched it to see Johnny! Then there was Benny & Joon... Juney Moon. Although steeped in stark realism; its quirky talented exuberance was exquisitely bright as the stars within. Scene after scene, the perfect compliments played; in spontaneous & unique fashion worthy of simultaneous laughter & tears. And, of course, Johnny does Chaplin better than Chaplin... although, admittedly; the movie 'Chaplin' was great, as well. Who wouldn't love the housecleaning? He made it seem so fun, like the artist he is. It was quite romantic & loving. I must say that Depp makes a great ghost & pirate; yet, the Willie Wonka character grossed me out... as did the movie. I can make a better Wonka Bar. I loved him in Chocolat. Only Johnny can draw me to see a violent movie... of used to, rather. I avoid such nowadays. I could swear he was at the annual Texan festival, [Keep Austin Weird] Eeyore's Birthday Party. I'll fetch the photo.
