I trudged down the sandy narrow path through the trees. I heard a boom nymph whisper as I passed door her tree. I pulled at a loose strand of red hair that fell out of my ponytail. It was so quiet. Everyone was eating at the pavilion.
Instead of going to my boom house I turned to the stables to see Anikan. Undoing time was one of my powers. It was how Anikan was still alive. But then again I have many, many powers.
After carefully closing the door's latch I walked through the dry hay. Shields and paintings covered the walls of the stable. Lots of multicolored horses whispered their hellos to me as I walked past. But I couldn't hear any of the hellos really.
Finally I found Anikan's stable. His violet wings and body was soft. I reached in for his oats to feed him. He nibbled at the grains in my hand. It tickled my palm but I didn't care. Not grabbing a saddle like I was supposed to I jumped onto him riding bareback.
"Come on Anikan. Lets go for a ride." I whispered in his ear while patting his soft neck. I softly kicked his sides to go and we were running out of that small building in no time.
He ran down the grassy heuvel at full speed until we were high in the air with the cold wind hitting my face. He neighed at my laugh. Riding through the winds seemed to remind me that nothing was wrong with my life. That is was all perfect. Like I had forgotten about what was going to happen. I had almost forgotten about the time Addison almost defeated my father inside the statue of liberty almost 11 years ago.

"Nico, where are u taking me?" I asked as he kept his cold hands around my eyes. "We are much to old for this! I'm 25-years-old!!"
"Shut up Addison and follow me!" Nico zei as he pulled me vooruit, voorwaarts some more.
"Is this for my birthday!!" I asked frustrated.
"Yep. Now be quiet." He pulled me around a corner. I kind of knew where we were. Actually to be exact We were walking around school campus to the forest behind where they were holding my surprise birthday party. I knew of course. They were so stupid. u can't hide this kind of stuff to a girl who has freakishly keen reflexes. I mean I could be a bat right now and I already as a human can hear Percy and Annabeth talking goo goo!
"Okay Addison, we're here!" Nico zei after he pulled his hand away from my eyes. I gasped at the big sight in front of me. Patio tables and chairs filled the little party area. regenboog balloons floated around along with a regenboog cake. Of course it had to be rainbow. Annabeth held Percy's hand with a little miniature Annabeth in Percy's arms. Except for the fact she had gigantic sea green eyes like Percy.
"I can't believe u flew all the way here from New York for my birthday!!" I zei almost screaming as I ran to give Annabeth and Percy a huge hug. "And is this... Krissie?" I zei with wide eyes as Percy handed me the little girl.
Percy and Annabeth of course got married a jaar geleden And they already had a one jaar old. u don't want to know how that happened.
"The last time I saw her she was only a newborn!" I zei as I cuddled the girl in my arms. Thalia, Rachel, and Sapphire where there too. I handed Krissie back to Annabeth. "Why did u really come too Oregon?" I asked them. We all sat down at the tafel, tabel and caught up on on our past. After we ate the cake Thalia had to go catch up with the hunters who were roaming close by.
"So whats life like back around camp?" I asked Rachel as she swallowed a spoonful of ice cream.
"It's u know, the same. I'm only there during the summer though and its fall like u said. I'm attending a college of painting over there."
I nodded. "And hows......Jesslyn?"
Rachel suddenly looked down and sad. "She burns the camp down at least two times every other week. Some of the campers want to kick her out. Still, she's learned to control her anger so she doesn't blow up stuff knowingly. Only when she dreams. And she can control time without going into her trance."
I shivered remembering how Jesslyn would destroy cabins and kill trees when she was in her trance. Kronos would take her mind and turn it cold. He would take her during her dreams, when she remembered him, and whenever she used any of her powers to do with time. Kronos is the titan of time.
"So can she see the future?" Nico asked.
"Yea. Anything to do with time she can do. Reverse it, see it, stop it, turn it. Anything. I just got an iris message from Chiron yesterday on the plane saying she had another attack. She burned down the entire camp and killed her Pegasus."
I gasped. "Thats horrible!!"
Rachel nodded grimly. "Its even meer zei that she does it not knowingly. She hates herself for it. But Chiron told me she actually reversed it all when she was mad at everyone. Like.....she brought her Pegasus back to life."
"WHAT!! Thats crazy!!" Sapphire zei as she finished applying her lip gloss.
"Yea...I know..." Rachel zei as she rubbed her head.
"Whats wrong?" I asked her as I stroked her hand.
"Lately I've been getting prophecy's every night. I never get any sleep. And the prophecies are all just gibberish."
Percy was silent as we spoke. He was lost in thought and we knew he was sorting these out. Annabeth left to change Krissie's diaper.
"do u have the prophecies written down?" I asked Rachel. She nodded and reached down into her bag. She pulled out a small leather sack.
"These ones I had last night and the night before." She zei as she handed me four small pieces of paper from the sack.
I grabbed them and layed them out on the table.
The first one looked like this:
October 1st, 2011 Prophecy at 2:31 a.m.
She says she’s coming home
But really she’d much rather roam
And as she destroys the sanctuary
Much die in pain and agony
"Whoa...." Nico zei as he stared at Rachel's neat writing. " This is weird! 'Destroys the sanctuary' and 'much dies in pain and agony'? Thats scary. What do u thin it means?"
"Jesslyn." Rachel said. She nodded at the seconde one. This time I read it aloud.
"September 30th 2011 prophecy at 3:15 a.m.
Boy of life
Girl of pain
Their future sees might in all
Destroy her father they will"
Percy sighed. "If it says 'girl of pain' we know they mean Jesslyn. And then 'boy of life'? I don't get that one. I'm thinking a son of Persephone. But thats my guess."
I nodded in agreement. " The volgende part says 'their future sees might in all'. What we've been waiting for?"
"The attack of Kronos?" Sapphire said. Rachel nodded and continued.
"'Destroy her father they will'. Thats the last part. So it means...a son of Persephone and Jesslyn will destroy her dad, Kronos?"
Confusing. There is no son of Kronos.
Then Percy read the third one.
"Prophecy of same dag at 5:13 a.m.
What we have been waiting for is coming round
Armies doubled and deaths tripled
One Hero will die trying
No one will rise."
That one scared us most. Mainly from the sentence, 'what we were waiting for will come round' and just about everything else.
We knew it know. This was no longer my birthday party. This was the frantic arrangements to get to camp half blood bye tomorrow morning. This was our new news.
This was what we knew. Kronos was going to attack with a new army. One of the heroes at camp were going to die. We needed to find a son of Persephone, and Krissie just exploded the bathroom. Following in her father's footsteps right?
