I understand that everyone likes different shippings, but have u ever seen those fans that are so into shipping that they skip part of the book? The ones that the first time the go through the book they just look for hints of their OTP (One True Pairing)?
I have a few things that annoy me about this:
1. It's an action story with some romance.
I know people say this a lot, but if u look it up door genre it's not a romance. I'm not saying there should be no romance in it, I'm saying don't get to influenced door the romance u forget the plot.
2. The relationships influence the plot.
Given, they aren't always romantic, but relationships influence a lot of endings in Riordan's books.
For example, Luke's bond with Annabeth is what snapped him out of Kronos' control and saved them all. Percy being grounded to mortality door Annabeth made him able to become invincible.
3. Logic.
I know it's a book, but I'm okay with almost every shipping as long as there is some logic to it.
Some excuses for shippings aren't well thought through gegeven the circumstances.
Example: Someone once told me that 'Rachel and Percy would make a good couple now because she is the oracle'...but if she's the oracle she has to remain a madien which would greatly effect what they could do in the future.
Again, I'm meer of a canon person, but as long as u have some logic.
In summary, don't focus so much on the romance that u don't care about the plot anymore.

Earlier today, I had a crazy idea.
What if the PJO/HOO fans came together to write one huge fanfiction series?!?
If I get enough people, I'll make a group and we can start writing.
I hope u join! And if u want to, please let me know and I'll explain everything.
Please tell me if u are on my page, since I'm posting this on several groups.
Thanks!
xoxo,

PS:
It doesn't matter of u don't write often. It's just be fun to do something like this. :)
We'd also need names. Can u think of any?
