The Heroes of Olympus Article: Names to unknown characters

So I decided to look up the meanings of Jason’s vrienden names, to see if that might give a hint to their godly parent... and this is what I got…

Dakota
Allies
I couldn’t find a God of Goddess of allies but I thought what God of Goddess is associated with allies, of even friendship?? Her Godley parent might be Vesta (Hestia), because she is known for hospitality. I know she’s a Virgin goddess but this might be the "Oath to keep with a final breath" but that may just be my thoughts. of maybe Mercury (Hermes), he is also known for his hospitality.

Hazel
Hazel tree; light brown
Well this might not be hard but hey, hazel...hazel tree...brown...dirt...Hmm Ceres (Demeter)??

Bobby
Bright fame
Well bright?? Bright is usually a term for smart; to his parent might be Minerva (Athena).

Gwendolyn
White ring; white bow
Well I thought about her long and hard, I finally thought either Apollo of Diana (Artemis) I know here I go with another virgin goddess, but Artemis uses a bow ALOT!! of maybe she isn’t even a demi-god!! Maybe she is one of Artemis's hunters!!

Reyna
Pure; clean
I really had no idea but I researched some and found a goddess of cleanliness, which means maybe her godly parent is Hygeia (same in both Greek and Latin) she is the goddess of cleanliness, and Reyna means cleanliness!!

What do u think??

daughter-ofzeus that could be true, I thought about aphrodite but wasnt quite sure, maybe thats why Jason was attracted to Piper? maybe because Reyna was a daughter of Aphrodite too?

HecateA ^Plus you've got the horible aspect of Reyna and Piper being sisters (have fun Jason!) Reyna also means queen. I thought Bobby might be short for Robert like the Civil war lieutenenant or general (I don't remember :O) Reyna is quite possibly a daughter of Victoria. Victoria was much more known then Nike so it'd be a good time to get to know the goddess. Gwendolyn also has some wheat-referance to it, so Ceres as well posibly. But RR uses names he like so they might mean nothing (although for some it says a lot- Annabeth has all the letters of "Athena" in it).

daughter-ofzeus you know now that you say that, i remember seeing that her name means queen in spanish... well that remindes me of hera... OH maybe thats why Hera helped him too!! Cause her daughter likes him!!

I have been thinking about this too (as many other people have) With Gwen... i d believe that it would be Apollo... the two sibilings are two gods of archery... Also... Athena is a virgin goddess an she hd tons of kids... Hestia swore to not have kids... not to not fall in love... that what Artimis swore... so i can bee poossible... possibly... but yah! Lightning98

tracytracy2000 Hazel, we really don't have much info about. Maybe Rick just made up the names because he liked them.... it doesn't seem very possible though but still.

Hello, all! I'm back! *Que corny muziek and fanfare* For those of u who don't know who I am, my name, as u can see, is Amphitrite, but u can all call me Amph. I've been up on Olympus, but I've decided to make my return, and let me tell you, I'm meer than a little upset. Why? Well, I've been on this spot from the very beginning, and I think of it the way someone would think of their child.
