I cant answer for other people but I know I dont like the Vampire Diaries meer than Twilight but I do like them. They have filled the gaps in between the Twilight movies. People probably tend to like the Diaries alittle meer because they're closer to traditional vampires than the Twilight vamps. Thats one of the things that I love about Twilight...its not traditional.
