Twilight Series Vraag

Was anybody else really confused as to why Bella was willing to die and spend the rest of eternity with him but not marry him and ... spend the rest of eternity with him?

I just always thought that it was strange.

I understand her aversion to marriage due to her parents marrying at a young age and being young in general but I was just always so confused door the fact that she was so willing to commit herself to Edward door dying and being with him forever but not marrying him.

I was not confused because it makes sense why bella was willing to die for was because she loved him very much.

I agree with u - it never made much sense to me. Mind you, very little she did made any sense to me! (not much of a Bella fan, btw).

IMO, Bella is a confused girl anyways - mostly for understandable reasons though. I mean how not to be with all the blood suckers around while living in this small peaceful town? So she makes verplaats that we don't understand, I am ok with that...

I think her issue with marriage was meer to do with how people would react - assuming she was pregnant, telling her it was too soon, her parents being disappointed etc. People wouldn't react in the same way to her becoming a vampire because the majority wouldn't know.
