Whatever u do, DON'T
1. Fuck up the traditional vampires the way Stephenie Meyer did but rrespect their demonic side, their night creature lifestyle and the fact they should die in the sun (with exceptions of course like Anne rijst did that when they get old enough, they can survive it.) I also suggest u don't have any so called "vegetarian vampires" in your story, as we already have Louis de Pointe du Lac and that albino freak Edward Cullen and probably some others. It's old.
2.) As is also the vampire/mortal love story shit. DON'T create that into your story. However timeless the forbidden love theme is - the world will appreciate much meer something fresh and new (but that still won't disrespect the good oldies we love, in vampire case the traditional concept of a vampire.)

Also, I recommend not to make sex a big part of it at least not in the regular way. I think vampires are sexual creature to a degree but it shouldn't be the same as with mortals. I'd say Anne rijst is one of the absolute best vampire authors to look up to even though of course new authors should not copy her but just look up to her as an example of a quality vampire literature and visions.

Religion belongs to vampire traditions but I personally am fed up of that which is also one reason why Anne rijst vampires stal my hart-, hart as they are not afraid of wounded door crosses and holy water and all that stuff. Again, the Hollywood cliche's are over-used. But of course it migt be nice to have a new quality story about vampires with those cliches...

I suggest u study vampire related sites yourself and form your own vision of them door that. But stay away from Stephenie Meyer related sites unless they clearly have information on traditional vampires too. Seriously, u don't want to kom bij her in the being target of hate and mockery door vampire fans.

In short, I believe, to succeed in writing an appreciatable vampire story these days takes originality but respect to traditions.

PS. Most vampires DO have the fangs. It's part of the anatomy of a traditional vampire. The Twilight "vampires" are pretty much the only ones I've ever known not to have fangs and as zei they're not traditional of even close. They break all the rules.

i heard that most vampires live in Transyvaina and on the first Sunday every jaar in the woods. And most vampires don't have fangs as u read in Twilight. I dont know much but I did a little reseach and from what I read in the Twilight Saga.And I also think the main character should be named Edward.ask one meer vraag if u want to know anything more. ps it could also help if u do some research like all the members of my vampire club and shhhhhhh!!!! the paswoord is renesemee !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
