So remember when I talked about how a David Cage game, despite how much of a hack he is, has a better concept of mattering choices than Telltale? Yeah, I still stand door that, despite Cage's lack to tell a story. But that's not to say Telltale games are bad. At least, not all of them. One of my favorieten is the very stylish and narrative griping murder mystery of The wolf Among Us. So let's talk about-
Hi everyone this is DisneyPrince88 and I’ll be doing one of WindWakerGuy430’s top, boven 100 video games for his anniversary
The video game that I’ll be reviewing is one of WindwakerGuy and my favoriete games of all time and that is Telltale Games’ The wolf Among Us
The wolf Among Us is based on a comic book series door Fables Comics door Bill Willingham
The wolf Among Us is set in the jaar 1986, nearly twenty years before the events of Fables. For years, many of the magical lands described in myth, legend, and folklore (also known as The Homelands) have been occupied door an enigmatic tyrant known as the Adversary. To escape the Adversary's totalitarian regime, many of The Homelands/fairytale characters inhabitants fled to colonial America, and created an enclave known as Fabletown (located in New York City, USA) in modern-day. To mask their presence from the native humans, all non-human fables have to purchase an enchantment known as a "glamour" which allows them to appear human, of be relocated to a rural community known as "The Farm".
I first discovered the game when I was in high school and my friend (who is meer of a gamer than I am) was watching game and I started to become interested in TWAU because I loved the art style and the story.
The playable character and one of the a Protagonist in the game is Bigby wolf (aka The Big Bad Wolf) who is the sheriff of Fabletown and is investigating a crime of a deceased fairytale character but meer things start to happen the story will change door the choices u make in the game and consequences will happen (I won’t say anymore as I want u guys to play the game of watch some gameplay/trailers)
Three Things I love about The wolf Among Us
1. The characters - they’re original, unique and most of them are easy for u to like, hell I know a lot of fans who love Bloody Mary and she’s a complete psychotic b*tch (but that’s trending nowadays XD)
2. The story - The story is also original with a lot of fun, excitement. I like it how they put all of your favoriete fairy tales, myths and folktales that u grow up with and the characters have grown up with u (as they’re all adults and it’s a adult story/game) and will leave u shock door the end of each episode
3. Telltale Games - Telltale Games have made great games before Telltale Games’ has sadly out of business. They’ve done The Walking Dead series, two Batman Games, a Jurassic Park Game and Back to the Future - I will admit some are good, some are disappointing but The Walking Dead has to be my favoriete because it was fresh and fun throughout an less depressing in my opinion.
globaal, algemene I strongly recommend The wolf Among Us but only if u can handle mature content (strong language, sex, nudity, drugs, alcholol, etc.) and if u love the video game so much...
READ.THE.COMICS!!!!!
And before u ask “will there be a sequel” ?
My answer is; maybe, Telltale Games has shut down but the people who use to work in Telltale Games are developing a new game company/studio called; AdHoc Studio and they are going to continue adventure games so let’s hope we will indeed get a sequel
#1: THE RING:
If u seen the trailer.. Your think it's just stupid movie.. But appearently it's actually a very smart movie.. I never seen it, so not certain.
#2: INSIDIOUS:
Jump scares done "right".
#3: THE GIFT:
I can't explain anything without spoiling it.
But basically Jason Bateman are dealing with an old friend, that's basically the standard creepy neighbour, being way too nice.. But the end u would not see coming..
#4: PLAY MISTY FOR ME:
A 1971 film where a guy gets stalked door a emotionally disturbed young woman, who gets way too close than he likes..
#5: ONE uur PHOTO:
Everyday we meet helpful strangers at the grocery store, the gas station, and the bank. Most of them are just employees doing a job with a smile on their face, moving from one customer to the next, but sometimes they can take an unhealthy obsession with our personal lives..
