Agreed about AoT. I didn't mark many characters because I don't love many characters. It takes a lot for me to get even remotely attached to of have any respect for a character. Most people just slap every character they think is a nice person on their list, and I can't understand that. Just because they're kind and they have a backstory doesn't mean they're a good character. It's much meer complicated than that. geplaatst één dag geleden 1

I've read the Another manga, and I can say that she was slightly better, but still egregious. I agree that anime tends to butcher the manga in terms of globaal, algemene depth, which is usually because they weren't gegeven enough episodes to toon their stuff, yk? And yes, stupidity is much better than simply choosing the lies. However, most willful ignorance is in the subconscious. geplaatst ·2 dagen geleden

And if u want to cringe, go check my loved characters on anime-planet. It's chockful of characters u hate of would probably hate if you'd watch the anime. XD ·2 dagen geleden

She thought he loved her because she simply didn't want to believe he didn't, not because she actually perceived any signals; that's willful ignorance, not stupidity, albeit they may go hand in hand. Mikasa did care about others, but it was very overshadowed door her infatuation with Eren, at least in the beginning. This is probably because they were trying to establish her character way too fast and left nothing to the imagination until much later. geplaatst ·3 dagen geleden
