I just watched Mulan, so I'll sing praises to it. It's a great movie, probably my 6th favorite, fantastic, really. I liked the meer serious scenes over the comic ones, but these were good too. I love Mulan meer now, she is no longer my last favorite, probably my 6th favorite. She is a complex character, with great character development, and I love her loyalty to her family and her intelligence. I just finished watching The Pirate Fairy and it was without a doubt AMAZING! I wasn't expecting much because my love for the Tinkerbell films has kind of faded, though I still think they're good. But this movie is what all the others should have been. A dynamic and action-packed adventure. The fairies were all really bada**! I watched Tangled yesterday, so I'm going to ramble about it. I love that movie, it's sixth in my favoriete DP films list, I think. There were just some parts in th middle that I didn't like, because they gave that cliche adventure feel, like The Snuggly eendje sequence. It's a bit creepy how these thugs who murdered people just joy in singing and dancing and suddenly all of their crimes are ok. I went to see Aladdin on Broadway tonight. !! I met Jonathan Freeman! The voice of Jafar in the Aladdin films and he played Jafar on Broadway! I can't believe he's still Jafar over 20 years later... it was an amazing surprise, I didn't know he was in the show. It was astounding hearing Jafar's voice live on stage. I just got back from seeing Divergent and it is freaking amazing! It's even better than Catching Fire! I just watched Mulan (live action) in Mandarin and this makes me want a Mulan live action from Disney. So I just watched cinderella and I really liked it but I had one problem. I agree with Lady Tremaine. She was right to abuse her. Cinderella is a whiny brat and she can't fix any problems door herself. She always used the fairy godmother to get what she wants. She is always talking to animals. If my daughter was doing that I would do the same thing. I wouldn't want to send her to a crazy hospital because I'd rather have her cleaning my house. I just finished watching Cinderella III: A Twist in Time. It's a great movie, I love it: it may not have the same magic as the original, but I love the new dimensions it added to the characters and story. Cinderella stayed rather true to her character: witty, determined, resourceful and hopeful. I never really got to express how much I love Mulan. Now I'll tell you, for one thing, she wears flats. I mean really, what better trait to have in a DP than that. I think that's why everyone else loves her so much. Fkats are truly the thing. Also, I think she is left handed, that's a boost. In my opinion, the left handed DPs are meer likeable than the right handed ones. Also, I love Mulan's big toe. It's so beautiful and really compliments her face and complexion. I'm starting to see why people love Aurora so much, I don't love her but I do like her. She does have a lack of screentime and is very undeveloped but she does have a personality, it's generic and stereotypical but she has one. Yesterday afternoon was one of the best I've had in months. I watched went over to my sister's place to watch Disney films and Once Upon a Time with her and some friends, and we all had popcorn, candy, Mexican hot chocolate, and home-made appel, apple turnovers while we watched.
